Harry Kane (30-Tottenham) is now more likely to stay.
Tottenham’s biggest question mark this summer has been Kane’s future. Kane had his best season in 2022-23 with 30 goals in 38 league games. He finished second in goals behind Elling Holland (36) and broke Jimmy Greaves’ Spurs club record for most goals (266), but the saga of inaction continued.
With a year left on his contract, Kane said he would discuss his future with the club’s hierarchy. In the meantime, the likes of Manchester United and Bayern Munich continued to be linked with the player.
More recently, Real wanted Kane. Real needed a replacement for Karim Benzema’s departure to Saudi Arabia’s Al Ittihad, and they chose Kane. Kane also wanted to win trophies, and with reports suggesting that a personal agreement had been reached with Real, a move seemed likely. 안전놀이터
But things have changed. Tottenham chairman Daniel Levy stuck to his £100m price tag for the 30-year-old. Real, who want to bring in Kylian Mbappe (Paris Saint-Germain) next summer, felt overwhelmed by Kane’s fee and abandoned their bid.
The amount was also a burden for United. Furthermore, Tottenham made it clear that they would not sell Kane to an English Premier League (EPL) club, making things even more difficult for United.
Eventually, Kane’s chances of staying increased. “Tottenham will not hold talks with United,” Sky Sports reported on the 13th. This makes it more likely that Kane will stay at Tottenham.” Once again, the Kane saga appears to have been won by Levy.
