Will Tottenham Hotspur sign a striker before the transfer window closes?

“Tottenham are set to launch a bid for Brennan Johnson,” the Evening Standard reported on May 28.

“Nottingham Forest will not let him go easily and are expected to demand £50 million in transfer fees,” it added.

Tottenham have a gaping hole in their attack this summer. Harry Kane is gone.

Kane has since parted ways with Spurs, along with fellow summer signing Son Heung-min. He decided that a new destination was the answer to fulfill his title ambitions.

Bayern Munich offered more than 100 million euros ($145.8 million) for Kane, and the deal was finalized when Tottenham accepted the offer.

Tottenham are feeling Kane’s absence acutely. He was touted as a possible replacement, but he hasn’t found the back of the net in three games.

One option is to use Son Heung-min up front, but a legitimate striker is needed, and the club is pushing for one.

Tottenham have identified Nottingham’s Johnson as the right man for the job.

Johnson is a Welsh international who broke into the professional ranks through Nottingham. He also gained experience on loan at Lincoln City.

With the club’s promotion to the English Premier League (EPL) last season, he was given consistent opportunities and improved his game. 소닉카지노

Johnson is an attacking resource with great speed. He has a top speed of around 37 km/h.

He has the versatility to play up front, on the flanks, and in the attacking midfield alongside his dribbling ability.

“With the likes of Son and Heung-min, Johnson will face tough competition for a central role at Tottenham,” said British outlet The Boot Room.

“Johnson has proven himself to be a versatile option. He can play a role in the Spurs offensive line,” he said.
