Harry Kane is the ‘eye of the storm’ in this summer’s transfer market.

Tottenham have finally raised their hands. Owner John Lewis has chosen Silva. Kane’s contract with Spurs ends next June.

Lewis has instructed chairman Daniel Levy to sell Kane if he does not re-sign. This is the best news for Bayern Munich. The Bavarians made two bids for Kane, worth up to £80 million, which were rejected by Tottenham.

Levy is demanding at least £100 million. Bayern Munich are reportedly set to make a third offer this week. Germany’s Bild reported that the Bavarians are set to make an offer of close to €100 million for Kane.

In the midst of all of this, the news of United’s bid came as a surprise. The Sun reported on April 24 (ET) that “United could walk away from a deal for Kane even if he refuses to re-sign for Spurs.

According to The Sun, Kane is demanding a weekly wage of £577,000 (approximately $948,000) from United. That’s an astronomical £30 million per year. That’s the highest salary in the Premier League.

However, United would also have to break their new wage structure to sign Kane. The Red Devils recently signed Marcus Rashford to a new contract that pays him £325,000 a week ($534 million). 먹튀검증

United manager Eric ten Haag is reluctant to have one player earning significantly more than all his teammates. It’s a Cristiano Ronaldo lesson.

Ronaldo’s £500,000-a-week salary was detrimental to the club’s atmosphere, according to Van Gaal. Ronaldo parted ways with United midway through last season.

This makes Kane’s weekly wage an oxymoron for United. Tottenham, on the other hand, have offered Kane £400,000 a week, but a new deal remains unclear. The general consensus is that Kane is now leaning towards a move to Bayern Munich. United’s refusal to sign him is like drinking kimchi soup.
