Jürgen Klinsmann, who promised to “stay in Korea” after his appointment as head coach of the South Korean national soccer team, has confirmed that he is heading to the United States for another summer vacation.

An official from the Korea Football Association (KFA) told News1 on the 13th, “Coach Klinsmann boarded a plane to the United States in June after an exhibition match against Peru and El Salvador.” “He will be on vacation for about four weeks until the end of July,” the official said.

“It’s not just a break. Coach Klinsmann is analyzing the squad with K League information from advisor Chaduri and coach Michael Kim.”

This is Klinsmann’s second trip to the United States, as he has been in charge of the national team since March. Klinsmann traveled to the United States in May and spent about three weeks with his family.

After completing a series of exhibition games domestically against Colombia and Uruguay in March, Klinsmann traveled to Europe in April to watch and speak with players in Europe, including Son Heung-min (Tottenham), Kim Min-jae (Napoli) and Lee Jae-sung (Mainz).

We then watched the 2023 Asian Football Confederation (AFC) Asian Cup group draw in Doha, Qatar, and toured potential base camp sites 먹튀검증.

After a busy two months in South Korea, Europe, and Qatar, Klinsmann headed straight from Qatar to the U.S. for three weeks to recharge his batteries.

In June, the team played a series of exhibition matches in Korea against Peru and El Salvador, but failed to secure their first win with a 1-1 draw. Under Klinsmann, South Korea hasn’t won in four games, drawing two and losing two.

With no wins and disappointing performances, it is controversial that Klinsmann is on a plane to the United States for another vacation for no particular reason. It is said that he receives information from the US and analyzes it, but it is obviously not the same as watching from the field.

The most disappointing part is that Mr. Klinsmann has not been able to fulfill the promises he made when he took office.

At his inaugural press conference, Klinsmann said, “I am the head coach of the South Korean national team, so it is natural for me to be based in Korea. I am fortunate to have the opportunity to live in South Korea,” he said during his inaugural press conference.

However, in the four months that Klinsmann has been in charge, he has only been in Korea for about two months.

Klinsmann has been vocal about his desire to win the Asian Cup since his appointment. With just over six months to go until the tournament, Klinsmann’s decision to spend his vacation in the United States instead of on the field may raise some concerns.
