No South Korean players reached the round of 16 at the U.S. Women’s Professional Golf (LPGA) Tour’s Bank of Hope Match Play ($1.5 million purse).

Kim played Cheyenne Knight (USA) to a draw in the third round of Group 13 on the third day of the tournament at Shadow Creek Golf Club (Par 72, 6,804 yards) in Las Vegas, Nevada, USA, on Sunday (July 27).

Kim, who improved to 1-1, was unable to advance to the round of 16 as Knight improved to 2-1.

Kim held a one-hole lead going into the 17th hole, but dropped the final 18th (par-4) to tie the match.

If Kim had won the match, she would have advanced to the round of 16.

Lee Jeong-jeong, who was tied for first place in Group 2 after the second round of play, also lost by four strokes to Brooke Henderson (CAN) on the day. 안전놀이터

Lee fell to 1-1, while Sophia Schubert (USA) punched her ticket to the Round of 16 with a 2-1 record in Group 2.

In Group 7, Ji-Eun Shin (KOR) improved to 2-1 with a one-hole victory over Linea Strom (SWE), but three-time champion Riona Maguire (IRL) advanced to the round of 16.

Last year’s winner of the event, Ji-hee Lee of Group 8, lost to Lynn Grant (SWE) by two holes to fall to 1-2.

In Group 15, Hae-Ran Kim (KOR) won her head-to-head matchup with Ae-Rim Kim (KOR) by three holes to go 2 and 1, but Lindsey Weaver Wright (USA), who won 2 and tied 1, advanced to the Round of 16.

The round of 16 is now set with Alban Valenzuela (SUI), Schubert and Celine Boutier (FRA), Allison Lee (USA), Ayaka Furue (JPN), Maguire, Grant and Daniela D’Arquea (ECO), Perrin Delacour (FRA), Maya Stark (SWE), Carlota Zimda (SPA), Knight and Angel Inn (USA), Weaver Wright and Anna Nordqvist (SWE).

In Group 4, Caris Davidson (AUS) and Pajari Annanarukarn (THA) will meet in overtime to determine the last 16.

Korean-American Allison Lee (USA) advanced to the Round of 16 in first place in Group 5 with one win and two draws.
