South Korea’s Yong Eun Yang, 51, is tied for fourth place at the Senior PGA Championship ($3.5 million purse), a major on the United States Professional Golf (PGA) Champions Tour.
Yang carded three birdies and one bogey for a 2-under 70 in the fourth round of the tournament on Monday (Sept. 29) at the par-72 Fields Ranch East Golf Course in Frisco, Texas, USA.
With a final total of 11-under par 277, Yang finished the tournament in a tie for fourth place. It was Yang’s best finish since making her Champions Tour debut. She has been in great form this season with two top-10 finishes.
Steve Stricker (USA), with a final round of 18-under-par 270, defeated Padraig Harrington (IRL) in a playoff.
It was Stricker’s 14th victory on the Champions Tour 메이저놀이터.
Choi Kyung-ju (Korea), 53, shot a final round of 2-under-par 286 to finish in a tie for 26th place, while Wee Chang-soo (Korea), 51, shot an even-par 288 to finish in a tie for 29th place.
